Most of the later ones seem somehow related to oscommerce, which is still ok when used with the simple template system [or similar]. I wrote a button generator http://www.kso.co.uk/en/tools.html for osc and others which does lots of shiny and textured button sets.

The osCommerce Project created by disgruntled members of the true osCommerce forum is already in trouble. They seem to have lost all their corporate sponsors over their legal issues. More about their situations can be read at http://www.newoscommerceproject.org.
